Completing the Total Customer Experience.

December 19, 2013

Hassett of Wantagh recently unveiled its newly renovated service department at its Ford Lincoln Subaru dealership on Long Island.

“We set out to enhance and complete the total customer experience,” says Lou Evans, General Sales Manager at Hassett.  “From purchase to worry-free service, we’re known for exceeding customer expectations every step of the way.”

Hassett’s service department has the largest parts inventory on Long Island.  This means the part(s) needed will probably be in stock and located quickly by a newly streamlined inventory system.

Often, the car can be serviced while customers wait, especially for things like oil changes, tire rotations or NY State inspections.

In the meantime, customers are invited to relax in a spacious new lounge that features free wi-fi, computers, cable TV and complimentary beverages.

Service for all makes and models is available, performed by fully certified technicians with a reputation for getting it right the first time.  Customers can also call ahead and make an appointment to secure a complimentary loaner vehicle while their car is being serviced.

Hassett’s Owner Advantage Program provides complimentary oil changes, loaner cars available for service visits, 24-hour roadside assistance, Saturday service hours and a great deal more on all new and pre-owned vehicles.

With over three decades in business, Hassett is consistently recognized for its excellence in sales and service, which is why we continue to be Long Island’s No. 1 Ford Lincoln Subaru dealer.

Do You Own A New Lincoln?

by , on
August 29, 2013

If you answered “yes”, then this blog is for you!

Lincoln has been developing a new Youtube Channel called ‘Lincoln Owners” that is especially for owners of new Lincolns (hence the name) who might have some lingering questions about their car. For example, you may have just recently purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKZ, but you’re not 100% sure how to control the ambient lighting. Or maybe you’re not sure how to control the retractable panoramic roof. Whatever the issue, there’s a good chance Lincoln has made a video answering your question.

Even if you have no questions and you feel like you have a good grasp on how to use every feature in your car, we still encourage everyone to at least check it out as you might learn something new.

Here’s an example of one of the videos:

Check out the Lincoln Owner YouTube channel for yourself to see all the videos! And remember – if you have any questions or concerns about you new Ford, Lincoln, or Subaru, Hassett is always here to help.

New Lincoln MKZ and MKS go to war on Potholes

by , on
June 3, 2013

With winter now behind us, you might think that bumpy, pothole filled roads are gone for the time being. However, we’ve noticed that a lot of roads still have many potholes, and my tires have not really been appreciating them very much. In fact, I’m surprised I haven’t popped a tire one of those bad boys yet.

Thankfully Lincoln has developed some ground-breaking technology (no pun intended) that is sure to give you some peace of mind whenever you drive on pothole-covered roads. Essentially, the new Lincoln MKZ and MKS have a computer system that is constantly monitoring road conditions, and whenever it notices something like a pothole, it adjusts the suspension appropriately.

USA Today explains this technology very well. “When the system finds a pothole, it instantly tightens damper control to prevent the wheel and tire from sinking all the way in. The system is so quick that the experience of the front wheels allows for quick calculations knowing the rear wheels are about to pass over the same hole.”

And according to Brian Naspinsky, Lincoln Vehicle Integration engineer, the system “is always active, and it underpins the expanded dynamic capabilities of the new MKS.” The new 2013 MKS and MKZ are available now at Hassett Automotive! Stop by today to take one for a test drive and see how smart, sexy, and sophisticated these vehicles are first-hand. See you soon!
