What more is there to say about the 2014 Subaru Forester? This small SUV is just simply amazing! It seems like every week this car gets yet another huge award for one thing for another. If you keep up with our blog then you know that Motor Trend just recently named the 2014 Forester “Sport Utility of the Year”. And now, just a couple weeks after being named ‘Sport Utility of the Year’, Consumer Reports has come out and said that after testing all the new cars for reliability, the 2014 Forester has come out on top yet again!
We kid you not. Every year Consumer Reports analyzes all the new makes and models to see which ones are built the best and will keep you out of the repair shop. And sure enough, after a thorough examination of all the new cars, Consumer Reports had this to say about the Forester:
“The most-reliable new car in our latest survey is the 2014 Subaru Forester. This small SUV has done great in our testing. It has excellent crash test scores. And now it is the reliability champ. A true grand slam.”

2014 Subaru Forester
If you keep up with our blog, then you probably already know that Motor Trend just recently named the 2014 Forester the best sport utility vehicle of the year. What an accomplishment for Subaru! But this is no new thing for the friendly folks over at Subaru. They got this award back in 2009 (with the Forester) and again in 2010 (with the Outback). What we didn’t realize is just how extensive the testing of these SUV’s is. Motor trend goes to great lengths to narrow down the field and finally pick out the best car in each and every segment, and all of us here at Hassett Automotive are honored to offer the best sport utility vehicle on the market today!

Just last month at the LA Auto show, Subaru unveiled the 2014 Forester (see some pictures, here). This new small SUV has everything you love about Subaru, including the legendary Subaru Boxer engine, but now it’s even greener! According to Subaru’s website, “Subaru Forester has always embodied the right-sized power, control and versatility that owners love. Now, it also represents a green-minded, fuel-efficient small SUV, as the 2014 Subaru Forester is a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle and built in a zero-landfill plant.”
You can expect to see the all new 2014 Subaru Forester at Hassett sometime next year.
