The Chicago Auto Show awards were recently presented and Subaru vehicles cleaned house. Claiming awards from Kelley Blue Book, Motorweek, US News and World Report, as well as Consumer Guide Automotive, Subaru’s success was noticed by all.
Four separate awards were given and we have listed all below:
Subaru vehicles are gaining more popularity as awards continue to pour in. Not only has Subaru claimed the above recognitions, but the Subaru Legacy has had a shining year and received even more praise. It is an IIHS Top Safety Pick and was named “Best Car to Buy 2015” by The Car Connection. In Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Top Picks for 2015, the Legacy was named “Best New/Redesigned Car: $25,000-$30,000” as well.
The award-winning Subaru lineup—including the Legacy—is available now at Hassett Automotive for you to come and test-drive.
Subaru has more than just one of its best sales years on record to celebrate. One of the two brand new vehicles, the 2015 Subaru Outback, has received a five-star safety rating in all categories by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration–making it officially the safest SUV ever constructed.
A new Forester was also released with excellent safety ratings, only narrowly losing to the Outback due to one category 4-star rating, which is still an impressive score. With these two new vehicles, Subaru can soundly say it’s producing the safest SUVs.
The automaker is due to have its best sales year on record, thanks to a growing economy and the resulting increased interest in new car purchases. Surely, the claim of “safest SUV ever” will only cause the brand’s numbers to soar further.
