Pet Peeves, the voice of Long Island pets, was picked as Hassett Subaru’s “Charity of Choice” for their Share The Love Event that ran from November through December in 2018. For every car that was sold during the “Share-the-Love” Event, $250 was donated directly to one of five charities.

The generous check was presented on September 13, 2019 at the Garden City Hotel to Founder and President of Pet Peeves, Janine Dion during their annual Pet Peeves Unleash the Love!  luncheon.

“This year, Hassett Subaru exceeded our expectations!  We are so grateful to our friends at Hassett for their amazing support. The funds provided will be directly applied to the rescue and care of Long Island’s most needy, abused and homeless animals and will support Pet Therapy and Humane Education initiatives” said Dion. Hassett Subaru General Manager Marc Zergebel commented, “Homeless and abused animals are near and dear to the Subaru family and every member of our team takes pride in paying it forward to our community.”

The Share The Love Event will start up again this November and customers will have the opportunity to choose a charity when they purchase/lease a vehicle from Hassett Subaru.
