Hang in there—the wait is almost over. Ford has now begun accepting orders from dealers such as Hassett Auto for the all-new 2015 Mustang. Only about two months to go before fans of the iconic pony car can finally get their hands on the next generation.
Under the hood, the standard ‘stang will offer an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost producing 305 horsepower, 300 pound-feet of torque, and best-in-class fuel efficiency. Upgrade options include a 3.7-liter V6 producing 300 hp and 270 lb-ft torque and a 5.0-liter V8 producing 420 hp and 390 lb-ft torque.
It also comes with an impressive array of standard features, including a rear view camera, push-button start, HID headlamps with signature lighting, eight airbags, fully independent front and rear suspension, and SYNC connectivity system with next-gen AppLink smartphone compatibility.
Available technology includes an 8-inch high-resolution navigation touchscreen, Blind Spot Information System, adaptive cruise control, Track Apps, and much more.
Doing the perfect burnout every time is something that many Mustang owners aspire too. Now, if you get the 2015 Ford Mustang GT, you will be able to impress your friends and warm up your wheels every time you want.
Ford has finally revealed the Mustang’s secret that it hinted at last year, and calls the feature Line Lock. It causes the front brakes to hold firm while releasing the rears, creating the perfect burnout. However, if you’re a purist and prefer to do things the old fashioned way, you can always disable this feature.
It also comes with a bit of a warning. While Line Lock is standard, it is only meant to be used at the drag strip where drivers use it to warm up the wheels. Ford also warns that if you race your Mustang, it will void your warranty.

The Mustang is, without much argument, not only Ford’s most iconic car but also one of the most iconic muscle cars in the United States. As such, releasing an all-new model for the Mustang tends to carry a lot more weight and anticipation than usual.
But Ford has finally lifted the veil, turning the page and opening a new chapter in the life of the all-American pony car. The new Ford Mustang, featuring more performance and technology than ever before, is here.
With a lower, wider stance and reduced roof height, the Mustang has taken on a more aggressive edge as well as a sleeker profile. The cockpit features better craftsmanship than ever with an aviation-inspired design, providing improved ergonomics, tactile switches, and large, clear instrumentation for the driver.
Under the hood, an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine joins an upgraded V6 and V8, all of which provide the buyer’s choice of balance between raw power and efficiency, ranging between 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque and 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
Other upgrades include improved all-new suspension systems, a reworked automatic transmission, more powerful brakes, and more. Come learn everything about the Mustang at Hassett Automotive.
