Every Spring, animal-rescue advocates, gather to raise a toast, and their voices, in recognition of the selfless, year-round efforts of non-profit rescue organizations, and animal shelters who provide care, hope, and forever homes to the abandoned, abused, and helpless creatures of Long Island— desperate animals who crave only a small morsel of TLC from loving, local families.
