2021 FORD BRONCO PREMIERING JULY 13, 2020!

The fifth-generation 2021 Ford Bronco debuting Monday night, July 13th) will be the first new Bronco since 1996. Check it out at 8pm on ABC, ESPN and the National Geographic channel!

Resurrected for the 2021 model year, the two-door and four-door versions will be based on the Ford Ranger and will have removable doors and roof. The Bronco Sport — or “Baby Bronco” — will share the same chassis as the unibody Ford Escape.

Hassett Helps Out-Of-Town Nurse!

One Facebook post started a chain of events that helped a nurse from Iowa, whose 2020 Ford Fusion car keys were accidentally thrown in the trash this weekend.

Amber Rock left her husband and two kids in Iowa to come and work at North Shore Plainview Hospital as a travelling nurse to help during the Corona virus pandemic. As she was leaving from her shift at the hospital, she realized her bag with her keys was missing. Amber now had no way to get back to the motel she is staying at and had no idea where to start to get new keys for the car.  Her c-worker, Steve Clarke, put out a Facebook post asking if anyone could help her.

Karen Fatta, our Office Manager at Hassett, saw the post on her neighbors Facebook feed on Sunday night. She immediately called, Marc Zergebel, Hassett’s VP/General Manager, and told him of Amber’s problem. Marc said to have her car towed to the dealership Monday morning. Service & Parts hooked the car up to the computer to program a new key. By the end of the day, Amber had her new set of keys! Karen went a step further and delivered the car to Amber that night.

Marc Zergebel was so moved that Amber left her family in Iowa to come to Long Island, that he offered to replace her keys at no charge!  “Hassett was happy to do our part and help Amber out in these difficult times”. Needless to say, Amber was very grateful.
