The 2019 Subaru Outback is the most adventurous Outback yet. It features go-everywhere capability, thanks to standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive that gets up to 32 MPG highway5, 8.7 inches of ground clearance with X-MODE® and a powerfully efficient SUBARU BOXER® engine. The 2019 Subaru Outback is offered in 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder models with Active Grille Shutters (on all trim levels except the 3.6R) for improved fuel economy. The Outback is the most fuel-efficient vehicle in its class6.
For the first time in Outback history, EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology7 comes standard on all trim levels. Experience enhanced peace of mind thanks to safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Vehicle Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist.
The roomiest Outback ever, the 2019 iteration of the SUV has 73.3 cubic feet of cargo space and up to 108.1 cubic feet of passenger volume, along with premium soft-touch materials and other attractive features that lend to a comfortable environment. Noise-reducing laminated front side glass and aerodynamic side mirrors help make each trip as quiet as it is comfortable.
If you’re looking for a long-term adventure companion, look no further than the Subaru Outback. 98% of Subaru Outback vehicles sold in the last 10 years are still on the road today8, and it retains its value better than any other vehicle in its class according to ALG9. Drivers across the country love their Outback SUVs, too—it has the Highest Model Loyalty in its class for three consecutive years according to IHS Markit10.
The 2019 Subaru Legacy is more than a car. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive comes standard—in fact, the Legacy is the only midsize sedan with a standard all-wheel drive system standard across all trim levels. Its class-leading passenger volume of 104.6 cubic feet11 means a spacious, comfortable interior, and with 15.0 cubic feet of trunk space, it also has plenty of room for all your gear.
EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is now a standard feature across all Legacy trim levels. Like the 2019 Outback, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Vehicle Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist are also included features.
The 2019 Legacy is available in 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder models with a SUBARU BOXER engine and Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) standard on all models. Steering wheel paddle switches provide 6-speed step shifting for an elevated driving experience. Active Torque Vectoring enhances the Legacy’s Vehicle Dynamics Control stability and traction control system for neutral cornering. What’s more, all Legacy trim levels come standard with Incline Start Assist and an electronic Hill Holder® system.
The fuel-efficient 2019 Legacy also has an Active Grille Shutter system that helps improve fuel economy by reducing wind resistance when closed.
