The 2015 Kelly Blue Book Market Intelligence’s Brand Watch study came to a close not long ago. The study tracked over 12,000 new vehicle shoppers via the Kelly Blue Book comparison and research site. On the chopping block was brand and model perception. Well, the results are in.
The outcome was interesting to say the least. Subaru took both Most Trusted Brand in America and Best Performance Brand. Models from across Subaru’s lineup drove the automaker to victory. The Impreza, Outback, Forester, and the BRZ sports coupe all played major roles in the double win.
“[New Vehicle Buyers] voiced their opinions about today’s automakers to determine this year’s award winners”, said Hwei-Lin Oetken, Kelly Blue Book vice president of market intelligence.
The Most Trusted Brand was taken from Honda who held the title for years. On Subaru itself, Kelly Blue Book raves, “Purveyors of long-lasting vehicles that can go more places with more confidence, it’s easy to see why KBB.com visitors named Subaru this year’s Most Trusted Brand. With all-wheel drive included as standard equipment on every Subaru except its BRZ sports car, enhanced all-weather traction isn’t just a feature of Subaru cars but an integral part of the brand itself.”
