It would seem these days that pickup trucks live a kind of double life.  Drivers expect trucks to be rugged, capable and burly but there has been a recent shift in design to deck-out pickups with luxurious interiors and plenty of tech-friendly features. Ford’s F-150, which is commonly known as one of the best selling and highest rated pickups on the market, has a range of trim levels which suit a multitude of  different lifestyles and needs.

On June 26th, 2012, Ford has released a trim level which will outdo them all which is aptly called the Limited. The 2013 Ford F-150 Limited is being called “the most refined F-150 yet” by the Blue Oval and will feature a slew of performance/luxury upgrades.

2013 Ford F-150 Limited

“The F-150 Limited signifies the highest levels of design refinement, luxury and technology that we’ve ever offered in a Built Ford Tough pickup truck,” said Raj Nair, Product Development’s Group VP. “The F-150 Limited reflects a growing trend — more and more customers today have high expectations for luxury and convenience, yet their needs call for a truly capable truck.”

It seems like Ford has found quite a niche seeing as though 3 out of every 10 trucks sold come from luxury trim levels like the King Ranch or Platinum.

So what makes this new Limited trim level so desirable? Start with a handsome exterior in a choice of three colors (Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Tuxedo Black Metallic, or White Platinum Metallic) and then add 22” polished aluminum wheels, HID headlamps, and Limited badges. Powering this truck is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost with 365 horsepower and 22 mpg highway and inside drivers will find nearly every Ford tech-feature available.
