Going Out in Style

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

It’s hard to believe the holidays are upon us and 2010 is almost over! It seems like just last week I was writing to thank you for helping Hassett of Wantagh enjoy a successful 2009 and to promise big things in the New Year.

Well, now that New Year has come and gone – the first year of the second decade of the 21st century! That sounds so Buck Rogers-ish, so futuristic … and considering some of the environmental advancements, safety innovations and technological breakthroughs featured on the makes and models Hassett proudly features, it’s safe to say the future is now!

Many of those technological marvels will be featured this month, when Hassett closes out 2010 with two of its most popular events. This year, Hassett was honored with its seventh consecutive Ford Motor Company President’s Awards for superior sales and customer services, and to keep that momentum rolling (and thank our loyal customers and friends), we’re happily hosting Lincoln’s annual “Wish List” year-end clearance and the Ford Motor Co.’s Year-End Sales Event.

Each of these customer-appreciation celebrations offers tremendous deals on a wide range of outstanding cars and trucks – sturdy work-a-day pickups, economical family vehicles, luxurious rides they can only dream about on the Autobahn and everything in between. From fuel efficiency to best-in-class towing capabilities, from the exclusive MyTouch™ driver-control system to Lincoln’s legendary opulence, drivers of every taste and budget will find what they seek – and this month at Hassett, they’ll also find the best deals of the year.

Hot Lincolns like the all-new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and the Lincoln MKX Crossover SUV – featuring a smarter kind of lavish (how about a heated steering wheel?) and an array of intuitive technologies (Intelligent All-Wheel Drive) – may already be on your personal wish list, and who can blame you? Lincoln has really refocused its environmental efforts, making these wonderful vehicles as responsible as they are luxurious: That new Lincoln MKX, for instance, bests 700 city miles on a single tank of gas, while the Lincoln  MKZ offers best-in-class fuel economy (19 mpg city/26 highway, according to the EPA).

They do it without sacrificing any of Lincoln’s legendary comforts (in fact, these and other Lincoln models add new amenities to provide even smoother and more interactive driving experiences). And thanks to the “Wish List” event, your dream machine can find its way under your tree at a price you’ve never imagined (you get more Lincoln for fewer Benjamins!)

Equally impressive are the vehicles, amenities and prices featured in Ford’s Year-End Sales Event. Paying special attention to the needs of drivers – workers relying on Ford-tough trucks for their livelihood, families focused on safety, environmentally conscious operators thinking globally and acting locally – Ford engineers have broken the mold with its re-imagined line of cars and trucks, and to close out 2010 on a high note, the Ford Motor Company is making Year-End deals as fantastic as the vehicles themselves.

From 0-percent APR financing to a $1,500 renewal incentive on many of Ford’s most popular models, the Year-End Sales Event is one big “thank you” from Ford and from Hassett, which is honored to be Long Island’s No. 1-volume Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Dealer.

The Lincoln “Wish List” and the Ford Year-End Sales events are happening right now, but the New Year will soon be upon us – and like all good things, these spectacular sales will soon end. For more information, please visit our website (www.hassettautomotive.com) or stop in for a visit (and perhaps a warm beverage) at 3530 Sunrise Highway in Wantagh.
As always, we at Hassett appreciate the Long Island community, which has always been there for us, through thick and thin. So we’re thrilled to take part in these outstanding events, and we look forward to helping you find the ride of your dreams!

Have a safe and happy holiday season and a terrific 2011. We’ll see you on the road!

Best,

Lou Evans, General Sales Manager, Hassett of Wantagh
